"Half of [Which] Sky?": A Critical Analysis of Gender (In)equality in China's Labor Force

This team teaching lesson plan provides an example of how the two disciplines of WMST 101 and SOCY 105 could be integrated into one combined classroom session. The lesson offers students an opportunity to: 1) Assess their own and others' perspectives regarding gender and labor inequalities; 2) Develop a broader understanding in the application of critical analysis and thinking skills; and 3) Adopt a flexible and humble posture of learning as they explore unique perspectives on gender-based disparities in various workforce spaces in mainland China.
